Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement high-scale and secure infrastructure.
- Plan and own your slice of the infrastructure roadmap.
- Enhance security practices around everything infrastructure.
- Drive organization-wide infosec and compliance programs like ISO, SOC2, etc.
- Review operational efficiency of infrastructure and research ways to make it better.
- Design and operate robust scaling of distributed technologies.
- Research and implement innovative methods for reducing cloud costs.
- Boost platform reliability by setting up platforms like CI/CD, centralized logging monitoring, observability, and more.
- Automate robust provisioning of the entire infrastructure.
- Design and perform dry-runs of BCP and DR practices.
- Monitor critical metrics and help reduce reaction time to incidents.
- Measure system resilience and track performance and availability SLAs.
Requirements:
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or a related engineering/science field
- 3 - 6 Years of experience in running high-scale cloud infrastructure
- Strong fundamentals in Linux/Unix Administration
- Hands-on experience with Shell scripting, Python, Ansible.
- Extensive hands-on experience working with cloud platforms like AWS (preferable), Azure, GCP
- Experience in deployment automation, CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, GitLab) and monitoring tools like Prometheus, DataDog, Sentry
- Knowledge of databases, architecture of distributed technologies (kafka, elasticsearch etc.), JVMs, web servers (nginx), proxies (ha-proxy)
- An intrinsic desire to go deeper beneath the abstractions offered by new-age systems.
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with B2B software is preferable
- You have experience in gathering, translating and prioritizing customer requirements and defining product roadmaps
- You have excellent organization, communication and presentation skills.
