Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Provide first and second-line support for Low-Code Application Platform applications and infrastructure.
• Monitor application and infrastructure components to ensure platform health, utilizing tools such as Dynatrace, Hermes, and Kibana for real-time insights and proactive issue resolution.
• Utilize ITIL best practices for Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management, ensuring smooth operations and compliance.
• Perform log analysis and troubleshooting using Hermes/Kibana to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Work with Unix and SQL to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system-level issues.
• Use Jira for ticketing and Confluence for documentation, ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Serve as a liaison between second and third-line support teams, development, and IT infrastructure departments to escalate and resolve issues effectively.
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide status updates, solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track and monitor hosted platforms (Cloud & Non-Cloud) to ensure availability and performance.
• Adhere to strict change management protocols, performing testing in UAT and live-like environments before deployment.
• Oversee capacity management, ensuring optimal resource utilization and addressing any performance bottlenecks.
• Execute small-scale application upgrades, configurations, and patching across multiple environments as per requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance (QA) and sign-off for production changes/upgrades, ensuring minimal risk to live environments.
• Manage and track audit requests, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously contribute to process improvements, enhancing efficiency and operational effectiveness across the organization.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- L2 support prior experience (at least 2 years)
- Monitoring tools usage knowledge & Handson experience (Dynatrace)
- Application log tools usage knowledge & Handson experience (Hermes/Kibana)
ITIL knowledge (Incident, Change, Problem & Release management) - Knowledge of Unix & SQL along with Handson experience
- Knowledge of Ticketing tool like Jira & documentation tool like Confluence along with Handson experience
- 1st and 2nd front-line support of Low-Code Application Platform applications and infrastructure
- Monitoring of different application and infrastructure components ensuring platforms are in healthy state and running with different SOD/EOD dashboard reports (Dynatrace/Hermes)
- Responsible for the recording of issues and actions and being able to provide incident and problem management (understanding of ITIL processes)
- Liaison between 2nd and 3rd line teams, as well as development and other IT infrastructure departments
- Regular communications with an extensive client base to provide status updates, and successful solutions as well as document all activities for future reference
- Tracking and monitoring all our clients hosted platforms (Cloud & non-cloud).
- Act in a strict change management regime, involving testing in UAT and like-live environments
- Capacity management and tracking and management of audit requests
- Small scale application upgrade, configuration and patching across multiple environments in line with requirements
- Oversight, QA and sign off for all go live and production changes/upgrades
- Contribute to departmental and company-wide process improvement
