Devops/Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will: 

•    Working within an Agile team to design, test and support (DevOps) Network products.
•    primarily focused Network Automation.  
•    Working with automation/testing tools – Ansible, Terraform, GitHub (Version Control), Postman, Jenkins
•    Covers all APIs for customer consumption as we drive efficiency across the NEC estates globally. 
•    Interact with our customers to understand requirements and services that would benefit them in the future 
•    work with Product Owners to drive such initiatives through to delivery.
•    working on Web/API Technologies
•    Working experience with Linux OS
•    Working on network devices like Routing & Switching, Firewalls, NAT, Port, Subnetting, VPNs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 
•    Must have experience of software delivery life cycle along with a passion for testing and delivery of quality products and automation
•    Exposure and awareness to other disciplines (Analysis, Testing, Operational Support) within the Network operations
•    Background of working with the Agile methodology and associated tool sets – Jira, Confluence, Service NOW etc…
•    Evidence of having conceptual knowledge of networking technologies and protocols
•    Ability to work as part of a team to ensure team success in the form of value-add deliverables with a regular delivery cadence
•    Customer and service focused, representing Telecoms globally
