Devops/ITSO/Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Analyzing business requirements and enhancements to the IT systems to ensure that these changes have the effect intended by the Business and development teams. 
• Working closely with the Pods and BAs in the initial stages of the project and apply analytical skills to understand the business requirements and change requests.
• Ensure the testing of delivered code is both timely and of quality to meet HSBC standards.
• Liaise with the Tech Lead to highlight risks and issues and to ensure automation achievements are reported.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and automated testing to streamline deployment.
• Ability to design automation testing framework with testing tools.
• Design, develop and maintain reusable automated test scripts and Regression pack.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

•  7+ years of Automation testing experience, expertise on Selenium (WebDriver) using Java, TestNg & Cucumber tools for Automation Testing of complex enterprise applications.
• Expert on concept of BDD/TDD, working experience of writing BDD Feature files, writing Test Scenarios and test cases as per high class Industry Standard
• Experience with Code versioning tools such as Git.
• Good understanding of REST API, Rest Assured / RESTful APIs Automation.
• Exposure to CI/CD using Jenkins.
• Working with devops tools like Jira, Confluence, Maven etc
• Exposure on Performance testing using Jmeter.
• Testing knowledge - well versed in preparation of test cases, test conditions and test scenarios, defect tracking.
• Supporting ongoing work to automate regression test cases & regression pack maintenance.
• Experience working in Agile, or knowledge of the key principles of the methodology.
