EKS Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and manage AWS EKS clusters for production-grade environments • Design & Implement cluster networking (VPC, CNI, ingress/egress, service mesh exposure) • Design and implement EKS networking architecture, supporting multiple networking plugins (e.g., VPC CNI, Calico, Cilium) • Design and implement of multi-plugin storage architecture, including EBS, EFS, and CSI-based solutions • Design and implement Kubernetes multi-tenancy models (namespace-based, cluster-based, or hybrid) • Design and enforce EKS security hardening standards, including: o IAM, IRSA, RBAC, and zero-trust principles o Network policies and pod-level security o Compliance and vulnerability management • Enable multi-tenant Kubernetes environments with proper isolation and governance • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform • Implement GitOps-based deployments using Argo CD or similar tools • Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and SRE teams for scalable and resilient architecture • Ensure observability, reliability, and performance of the platform
