EVCN DevOps engineer

What you will do: 

• Work with Azure cloud architecture – deploying, updating, troubleshooting and improving our development environments. 
• DevOps Transformation: Champion the adoption and refinement of best DevOps practices, ensuring seamless integration across development, testing, support, and SRE teams. You’ll be a driving force behind operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Architect and enhance GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines, enabling faster, more reliable deployments and empowering teams to deliver with agility and confidence. 
• Harness AI for Operations: Apply cutting-edge AI and machine learning techniques to automate workflows, predict maintenance needs, and boost operational efficiency. Your expertise will help Ericsson stay ahead in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.
• Collaborate Globally: Work closely with cross-functional teams in India and Canada, aligning engineering strategies with product and business goals. Your communication skills will bridge continents and cultures, fostering a truly global engineering community.
• Drive Thought Leadership: Serve as a thought leader in cloud and DevOps, inspiring innovation and setting new standards for performance and reliability in telecom-grade systems.

You will bring

• Proven experience in Azure cloud architecture, networking (VPC, VPN, Load Balancing), and resource management.
• Advanced skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and ARM templates. 
• Deep understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor). 
• Automation expertise with Bash, Python, and PowerShell, enabling you to streamline and optimize operations.
• A strong track record of designing and maintaining GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines. 
• Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes, including orchestrating microservices in production environments,  implementing Helm for streamlined application packaging and delivery.
• Demonstrable experience applying AI and machine learning to DevOps and cloud operations. 
• Excellent communication skills for working with diverse, distributed teams.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset ready to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
