Job Description
You need to be a HODLer of these
- 8–12 years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a people management role.
- Proven experience leading DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and developer experience tooling.
- Ability to translate business needs into platform initiatives and manage complex stakeholder requirements.
- Track record of delivering platforms at scale for large engineering organizations (100+ engineers).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience driving cross-functional initiatives.
You will be mining through these tasks
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and grow a team of platform engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Platform Vision & Roadmap: Define and execute the roadmap for our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), aligning with organizational priorities.
- Delivery & Execution: Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of platform features, tools, and automation to improve developer productivity and system reliability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, security, and engineering teams to ensure platform adoption and alignment with business goals.
- Operational Excellence: Drive best practices in reliability, security, cost management, and compliance automation.
- Metrics & Impact: Establish and track KPIs (e.g., lead time, MTTR, platform adoption, cost efficiency) to measure success and continuously improve.
- Mentorship & Coaching: Support team members in their career growth and build succession plans for critical roles.
