Job Description
What you’ll be working on
- Own and operate existing AWS environments, focusing on stability, enhancements, and continuous improvement using Amazon Web Services.
- Enhance and maintain self-managed Kubernetes clusters on EC2 (upgrades, scaling, reliability) using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Drive improvements in infrastructure automation using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible. Optimize CI/CD and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD or FluxCD.
- Strengthen observability and reliability using Amazon CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic Stack and OpenTelemetry.
- Databases and caching technologies, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Memcached, Redis, Kafka and Debezium
- Lead troubleshooting, incident response, and hands-on technical improvements while mentoring engineers.
We’d love to hear from people with
- 8–12 years of experience with Amazon Web Services or similar platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with self-managed Kubernetes..
- Expertise in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, scripting, and Helm.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and observability tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Familiarity with databases and caching technologies, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Memcached, Redis, Kafka and Debezium
- Previous people management experience.
