Expert DevOps Engineer

Role Requirements 

• 12+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer in designing, building, and supporting infrastructure automation with Kubernetes on hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 

• Proficient in DevOps tasks and collaborating with architects, software engineers, and SREs to streamline service integration, observability, and delivery of automation services. 

• Experience in networking, storage systems architecture, virtualization, containers and serverless technologies. 

• Strong understanding of enterprise automation, and modern software engineering practices and hands-on experience with: 

• • Configuration Management Tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef 

• • Build Systems such as Jenkins (preferred), Bamboo, Travis, CircleCI 

• • Infrastructure Orchestration Tools such as CrossPlane (preferred), Terraform 

• • Container Orchestration Technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift 

• • Logging Systems such as Elastic Stack or Splunk 

• • Monitoring Systems such as Dynatrace, NewRelic or Appdynamics 

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with product managers, Enterprise architects, and technical leads. 

• Experience with GitOps pipelines for deploying cloud infrastructure with version control.  

• Knowledge of cloud and application security concepts like encryption (at rest and in transit) and the use of certificates and secrets within an application.   

• Proficiency with development languages such as Python, JavaScript, Bash, Java, Go; and a solid understanding of API development and Micro-service architectures. 

• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). 

• Experience with Git-based workflows, artifact repositories, and CI/CD tooling. 

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, OCI Monitoring). 

• Understanding of security fundamentals at the hypervisor and operating system levels 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) is required.  

• A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a lack of fear of learning something new. You should be open to learn from others and willing to help mentor and teach. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with a proactive mindset. 

• Experience in Travel and Procurement a plus  

• Excellent communication in English.
