GCP Devops Admin/Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Administer and optimize GCP services, including GKE, Dataproc, Cloud Composer (Airflow), cloud storage, IAM, VPCs,a and cloud SQL.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Python.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy for deployment automation.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of cloud-native applications and data pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, implement logging and alerting and troubleshoot incidents.
• Design and maintain secure and scalable network architecture in GCP, including VPCs, VPNs and firewalls.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and security teams to integrate and support platform solutions.
• Drive improvements in deployment automation, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Experienced Senior member in DevOps or cloud administration roles with at least 5 years in GCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Python, and Groovy.
• Solid Unix/Linux administration skills and scripting.
• Experience managing GKE clusters, containerized workloads, and Kubernetes resources.
• Proficiency in Dataproc, Airflow/Cloud Composer, and data pipeline orchestration.
• Deep understanding of GCP networking, IAM, security practices, and cost management.
• Exposure to system architecture, scaling, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning.

Nice to have:
Experience with GitOps tools
Knowledge of service mesh, API gateway or cloud run.
