Your Role

Collaborate with Product Managers and Dev Leads to understand feature requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Define and implement squad-level roadmaps, reference architectures, naming conventions, environment setup checklists, and standardized DevOps practices.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GCP-native tools (e.g., Cloud Build, Artifact Registry) and third-party tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar IaC tools.
Work with Business Analysts to break down user stories, estimate effort, and plan sprint deliverables.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on DevOps best practices, infrastructure automation, and platform architecture.
Collaborate across squads and the Engineering guild to define and implement emerging DevOps concepts and cloud-native patterns.
Serve as a technical liaison between development, quality engineering, release management, and operations teams.
Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency using GCP tools like Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring, and Logging.
Ensure security and compliance through automated policies and guardrails.

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Experience with Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and container orchestration.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
