GCP/Azure/AWS/SDD/Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will be:

• Technology Solution Architect is responsible for working with the Enterprise Architects, Platform Leads, Technical Lead & Engineers to define the detailed solution design (incl. Story Decomposition) for stories in backlog.
• Accountable for ensuring the products & services are supported by the right architectures and solutions meet the customer needs
• Accountable for ensuring the design of the product solutions are cost effective and maintained through the agile development lifecycle, managing the flow of the backlog of design activities
• Work with Engineering to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc) are resolved and that any design related issues are addressed in a timely manner
• Convert requirements into actionable product/service requirements that feed Technology solutions development & influence service direction
• Responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned with the platform architecture and roadmap, group standards and policies and the overall enterprise architecture for their function
• Own, Manage the Solution Design Document (SDD) and ensure high standards of SDD’s are produced.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Applicants should have minimum 2 end to end Solution Design/Architecture Experience
• Participate in the continued development of architecture standards.
• Ensure the design/solution is aligned with architecture standards, IT and business strategy, and meet business objectives.
• Participate in the delivery of architectures for business solutions, focusing mainly on Architecture for small activities.
• Participate in the introduction of new techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies
• Develop an understanding of appropriate Group business systems, their associated requirements and technology usages.
• Stay abreast of technology trends and advise IT and the business about potential benefits/impacts.
• Provide a consultancy role to IT and business teams where appropriate.
• Where appropriate, provide full life cycle architectural guidance to development teams and ensure quality technical deliverables.
• Experience in various Agile & SDLC lifecycle phases including requirements gathering, analysis and design, build, deployment, testing and support.
• Atleast 3-4 years of experience in architecture (GCP/Azure/AWS).
• Expertise in BigQuery on GCP
• Working experience on System API development and Support
• Knowledge on one or more HSBC Cloud implementations
• Should have working experience on DevOps tools (Jenkins , GITHUB, JIRA , Confluence)
• Should have good knowledge on IAM, Security, Infra and Networking.
• Should have good knowledge on Compute options like GCE, GKE, CloudRun, etc.
• Should have worked on Cloud, SaaS and On-prem solution designs.
• Should have knowledge on Devops engineering and Data engineering in GCP.
• Experience in Cloud migration projects and Direct cloud projects.
• Handson Experience on Terraform.
