Job Description
Lead and manage end-to-end production support operations, ensuring system uptime, stability, and performance.
● Define and implement incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA) processes.
● Own and drive DevOps strategy, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and release management.
● Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability, scalability, and system observability.
● Establish and enforce SLAs, SLOs, and operational KPIs for production systems.
● Oversee IT risk management, identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology and operational risks.
● Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and audit requirements relevant to fintech and financial services.
● Work closely with internal and external auditors to support audits, assessments, and certifications.
● Define and maintain policies, procedures, and controls for IT governance and compliance.
● Lead business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies and drills.
● Manage vendors, cloud service providers, and third-party risk assessments.
● Mentor and lead cross-functional teams across production support, DevOps, and IT governance.
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system resilience, security, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● 10+ years of overall experience in IT operations, production support, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
● Proven leadership experience managing large, cross-functional technical teams.
● Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud platforms.
● Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
● Deep knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management tools and practices.
● Strong understanding of IT risk management, security controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
● Experience with audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance standards relevant to fintech/financial services.
● Knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability architectures.
● Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
● Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
