Hosting Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of infrastructure from provisioning to decommissioningensuring secure and compliant data handling. 

• Assist with deployment, configuration, and upgrades of hosting platforms and related applications. 

• Monitoring alerts and managing incidents and requests, and supportingon-premises infrastructure and applications, ensuring high availability. 

• Assist with vulnerability assessments, patch management, and access control reviews. 

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding incidents, changes, and scheduled maintenance. 

• Follow security best practices and ensure compliance with company policies. 

• Able to adapt quickly and adhere to standard procedures 

• Staying curious, always seeking to learn new technologies 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in infrastructure operations, with a focus on Broadcom/VMware ESXi and vCenter administration and storage management. 

• Experience with operating systems administration (WindowsServer OS platform). 

• Experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, RHEL/ Rocky) 

• Familiarity with automation/scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python). 

• Excellent communication and documentation skills. 

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (Ansible). 

• Exposure to automated patching tools ( e.g. Azure Arc)  

• Experience working with Source Control Management Systems (GitLab, GitHub) 

• Strong knowledge of incident and problem management processes.
