IAM Developer

What You'll Do

• Automate and Provision: Design, build, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, primarily with Terraform and Bash/Python scripting.

• Build & Deploy: Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate application builds, testing, and deployments, ensuring seamless integration with GitHub for source code management.

• Secure and Remediate: Proactively manage system and application security by leading vulnerability remediation efforts, automating patching processes, and maintaining hardened 'golden images' using tools like SonarQube, Qualys, and Wiz .

• Monitor and Operate: Implement and configure comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Stackdriver, Datadog, and Splunk to ensure the reliability and performance of our microservices architecture.

• Manage and Support: Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to and resolve production incidents, utilizing ServiceNow for efficient incident and change management.

• Govern Access: Implement and troubleshoot GCP IAM policies , including the creation and binding of custom roles to enforce the principle of least privilege.

What Experience You Need

• Primary Cloud Platform: Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , including core services like:

  • Compute: GCE, GKE, Cloud Functions

  • Data & Storage: Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage

  • Messaging & Orchestration: Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataflow

  • Networking: Shared VPC, Load Balancers, Subnets

  • Security & Identity: IAM, Secret Manager, GCR

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong proficiency with Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning, including experience with GCP Terraform modules.

• CI/CD and SCM: Demonstrated experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and integrating with source code management tools, specifically GitHub .

• Scripting: Solid scripting skills in Shell or Python for automation and operational tasks.

• ITSM & Collaboration: Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence .

• Monitoring: Experience with enterprise monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Splunk, Kibana, or Stackdriver .

What Could Set You Apart (Good to Have)

• Experience with other major cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS) .

• Knowledge of advanced secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault or CyberArk .

• Experience implementing advanced deployment strategies like blue/green or canary deployments .

• Familiarity with identity and access governance solutions like Saviynt .

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Google Looker Studio .
