IT Monitoring and Operations Center Engineer

Role Description & Responsibilities 

• As an IT Monitoring and Operations Center Engineer, candidate will be part of a 24x7 Global monitoring team and will be responsible to monitor the critical IT infrastructure spread across various Data Centers and Offices of Dassault Systèmes worldwide.
• Candidate will also be responsible to perform Level 1 support to manage and maintain the uptime of critical Production Infrastructure and Network equipment globally.
• The team will cover 7 days a week; candidates should be available to work in rotational shifts including weekends and some holidays.
• Managing the expectations of IT and business stakeholders.
• Managing SLA and improve user satisfaction

Qualifications

• 3-4 years working in a network operation center (NOC) or technical support role.
• Hands on experience of Linux CLI / Windows Servers. Should have good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on Linux or Windows systems.
• Understanding of IT environment
• Experience with Enterprise Monitoring tools like Zabbix/Solar Winds/True Sight etc.
• Should have working experience on any of the ticketing tools like Remedy/service now or similar tool.
• International certification such as RHCSA/RHCE/MCSA will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in a team with flexible scheduling and overtime.
• Quick understanding of the IT infrastructure, various process & policies and tools and getting aligned.
• Ability to write documentation in a clear and concise way.
• Good Team Player and willing to work in a team
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) is mandatory to interact with our users worldwide.
