AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our AI transformation journey, building and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions that create lasting impact across Novo Nordisk. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of emerging technology and mission-critical business functions, where your technical expertise will directly enable our purpose of defeating serious chronic diseases.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building, deploying, and maintaining robust, efficient, and compliant AI-centric solutions from proof of concepts through MVPs to mature products used across Novo Nordisk
• Navigating complex business domains and corporate structures to engage with technical and non-technical colleagues, helping them harness the power of AI
• Staying at the forefront of the rapidly evolving AI landscape and actively contributing to shaping Novo Nordisk's AI vision and strategy
• Spearheading the early adoption and utilization of novel technologies with long-term potential for our organization
• Creating and driving AI and data-centric projects and initiatives with self-sufficiency and strategic thinking
• Updating technical documentation, participating in team and external meetings, and actively contributing to the ideation of innovative solutions
• Conveying deep technical expertise to stakeholders across all levels, making complex AI concepts accessible and actionable

Qualifications
We're searching for a highly motivated and self-driven team player with excellent communication skills who can successfully collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll bring with you:

• A Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a similar field, along with proven work experience in AI or ML/NLP
• Demonstrated contribution to Agentic -AI products currently in production, with deep expertise in taking AI or NLP-based applications from idea to production
• Strong proficiency with Python-based, AI-centric frontend technologies such as Chainlit and Streamlit
• Experience taking an AI-related startup or scaleup from early stages to maturity, including hands-on work with AI agents and multi-agent systems
• Deep technical expertise across the AI stack including vector databases, data pipelines, knowledge graphs, and AI architecture
• Fluency with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Github Actions, and expertise with DevOps and deployment orchestrators, particularly Kubernetes
• Deep expertise with Docker-based development environments and deployments
• Proficiency in MS Azure and Amazon AWS, especially their AI offerings (Azure OpenAI and Bedrock)
• Familiarity with Terraform and/or cloud agnostic Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Bonus qualifications: Experience with Google Cloud, Vector Databases, Semantic Search, and Language Models
