Jenkins, CI/CD, GIT, Shell, Server Handling - DevOps Engineer/Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Work on application deployments using the automation tools.
• Performing patching for the servers.
• Working on Vulnerabilities remediation, performance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issue and fix.
• Creating pipelines and working on automation as per the requirements.
• Work on change management and incident management following standards.
• Proactively work on process improvements and cost optimization.  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Solid understanding of DevOps concepts, DevOps tooling, CI/CD, Pipelines, Build/Release process.
• Experience in various deployments tools like Ansible and infrastructure provisioning.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and infrastructure-related issues.
• Experience in version management, CI/CD using GIT, Nexus, Jenkins, Security Scans tools (SAST, DAST, FOSS etc.). Good Understanding in Service Management, Change Management & Incident management.
• Experience on OS, Middleware, DB Patching. Knowledge in On-Premises services Evergreening, DR activity, Server procurement/ demise etc.
• Vulnerability management and mitigation. Knowledge in logging and monitoring tools. Having good knowledge in SQL queries.
• Good understanding of cloud architecture, Kubernetes, and Docker capabilities
• Good knowledge of micro-services and API design principles (API development)

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• Prior experience with products specifically Payments will be an advantage
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data).
• Prior experience in working with Agile projects.
