Requirements
Required Skills:
Linux system administration and troubleshooting
Strong command of Bash/Shell scripting
Proficiency in Python for automation
Working experience with AWS
Hands-on with Ansible, SaltStack (preferred)
Good knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting (DNS, OSI model)
Experience with web performance issues and server debugging
Familiarity with SSH, SSL, SFTP, and secure communication standards
Solid understanding of DevOps principles and tools
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, CloudWatch)
Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2 support for cloud-based and on-prem infrastructure, focusing on system stability, performance, and security.
Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers, networking issues, DNS, and web-based application performance.
Use Bash/Shell scripting and Python to automate routine tasks and improve system reliability.
Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
Maintain and deploy configuration management using Ansible or SaltStack.
Monitor logs, diagnose failures, and coordinate with development teams for issue resolution.
Manage secure protocols including SSH, SSL/TLS, SFTP, etc.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring production issues.
Adhere to ISO/OSI stack concepts and troubleshoot across layers.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure secure operations and handle vulnerability remediation.
