Lead Consultant - AWS

AWS Cloud Operations
Oversee BAU (Business As Usual) operations with a focus on availability, reliability, and scalability.
Lead EC2 instance migrations across accounts and regions.
Drive infrastructure consolidation efforts to reduce overhead and complexity.
Analyze and apply findings from AWS Compute Optimizer and cost reports.
Prepare comprehensive cloud cost analysis, billing reports, and optimization plans.
Linux Systems Management
Administer and optimize Linux-based systems within hybrid and cloud environments.
Manage system configuration, performance tuning, patching, and security compliance.
Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible for efficiency and scale.
Windows Server Support (Tertiary Focus)
Provide support for Windows Server environments, including OS upgrades and patching.
Perform troubleshooting and performance monitoring to maintain system health.
Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams for seamless integration.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with AWS ecosystem including EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Cost Explorer.
Strong expertise in Linux administration and shell scripting.
Familiarity with Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, and WSUS.
Hands-on experience with cost optimization, resource tagging, and budget controls.
Ability to analyse system metrics and convert them into actionable insights.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Skills & Qualifications:
