Lead II - Software Testing

Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data
Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts
Execute API testing and validate backend services
Conduct non-functional testing such as performance, security, and compatibility (as required)
Identify, log, and track defects clearly using defect management tools
Work closely with developers to ensure timely defect resolution
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
Mentor junior test engineers and review their test artifacts
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
Strong expertise in Manual and Automation Testing
Hands-on experience with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium (any)
Experience in API testing using Postman / REST Assured
Knowledge of SQL and basic database validation
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
