Lead Network Engineer

Network Design and Implementation:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure.
• Develop and enforce network architecture standards, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee network upgrades, expansions, and migrations to new technologies.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians.
• Allocate resources effectively and manage team performance.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide technical guidance.

Network Performance and Security:

• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and other security protocols.
• Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Oversee the resolution of complex network issues and escalations.
• Provide third-level support for network-related incidents and problems.
• Ensure timely and effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Project Management:

• Plan and manage network projects from conception through implementation.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain project documentation and report on progress to senior management.

Vendor Management:

• Manage relationships with network equipment vendors and service providers.
• Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions.
• Oversee procurement and maintenance of network hardware and software.
