Job Description
- Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of DevOps projects throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide solutions to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery for enterprise applications.
- Evaluate, implement, and streamline DevOps practices.
- Define future state application and reference architecture, operations models, and technical requirements of cloud ecosystem in accordance with leading practices from industry and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and agile development.
- 10+ years of experience in build and release and/or DevOps engineering
- Hands on experience in source control management, branching and merging strategies (Bitbucket preferred)
- Hand on experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo/GitHib Actions preferred)
- Hands on experience in environmental management, environment provisioning, and support
- Experience with agile processes, including experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence and Jira)
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or computer engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Required:
· 7+ years of relevant experience building, designing, and implementing CI/CD pipelines for Windows and/or Linux-based software development projects.
· Proficient with scripting languages such as C#, Java, Javascript, Python, bitbake, or Bash.
· Experience with Wix or InstallShield is a needed.
· Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and IAM management.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
· Proficient with build tools and pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Artifactory, etc.
· Experience with logging, performance monitoring, and performance tuning tools on AWS.
· Experience with container runtimes and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
