Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

We are looking for a developer passionate about converting novel ideas based on Machine Learning and other statistical methods, into enterprise-scale, production-ready software.

You will –

• Design, implement, and optimize statistically robust, efficient, and scalable algorithms.
• Adapt the algorithms to meet system and customer requirements.
• Develop test strategies and methodologies to evaluate new or competing algorithms.
• Rationalize and document the process behind algorithm design, including goals, trade-offs made with space and time complexity, decision criteria, and reasoning behind implementation choices.
• Stay up-to-date on latest research and algorithm development methodologies.
• Collaborate with other ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Product owners.

The development will be based on a combination of two or more of the following technologies:

• SAP HANA Predictive Analytics Library.
• SQL.
• Python.
• Java based microservices.
• SAP Joule and GenAI
• Databricks, Delta Lake

What you bring

• Excellent Analytical skills, ability to formulate multiple solutions to a given problem
• Clarity in communication, backed by fluency with both written and spoken in English.
• Demonstrated excellence in programming in at least two of the following, viz. SQL, Python, Java.
• Experience in handling large volume of data in productive environment
• Some experience in microservices, highly scalable multi-tenant architecture would add to your advantage.
• Knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with cloud development processes driven by regular code reviews, design reviews.
