Manual Tester

Responsibilities:

• Analyse requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, and system testing).
• Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Execute test cases and document results clearly.
• Participate in test planning and review meetings.
• Ensure applications meet quality standards before release.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
• Experience in functional and regression testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, etc. )
• Understanding of automation tools (Selenium is optional).

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
