Network Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Maintenance and administration of networks and related support systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to systems and networks

• Participate in off hours maintenance activities, be “On-Call”, during which the employee is responsible for answering Network related calls on their cell phone; calls are treated as emergencies and must be handled immediately

• Implementation of complex network infrastructure solutions

• Create and maintain IT documentation

What experience you need

• BS or Associate's Degree/Technical Certification or equivalent job experience required

• 2-5 years experience in networking and related support systems

• Demonstrated knowledge in IP network support and networking concepts such as TCP/UDP Protocols, ICMP, VLANS, routing, subnetting, etc.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with routers, switches, and load balancers

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with various network tools (SolarWinds, etc.)

• Availability to participate in 24x7x365 on-call rotation and have the ability to work flexible hours as needed including nights and weekends as required to complete projects and configuration changes without impacting business hours
