Platform Engineering Lead

To be successful as a Platform Engineering Lead you should have experience with:   

• Strong knowledge of AWS services including VPC and EKS

• Implementing and managing API gateway platforms products like Tyk

• Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes development and administration

• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab

• Knowledge of Helm charts for Kubernetes package management

• Understanding of OTeL

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Understanding of OpenAPI Specification (OAS) for designing, documenting and consuming RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of API security best practices

• Leadership skills to guide teams and contribute to strategic decisions

  • Stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
