Job Description
- Patch automation improvements for UEM releases, ensuring consistent, high‑confidence patch delivery with minimal manual intervention.
- Infrastructure automation across Tier‑0 and Tier‑1 build plans, enabling fully reproducible environments and reducing operational overhead.
- CI/CD build pipeline automation, building highly scalable, observable, and fault‑tolerant pipelines that accelerate developer productivity and platform reliability.
You will collaborate closely with Engineering, SRE, Product, and Release teams to enhance platform performance, stability, observability, and deployment efficiency. Your work will directly influence how Omnissa builds, validates, and ships platform capabilities at scale.
What will you bring to Omnissa?
You bring deep hands‑on expertise in building, maintaining, and scaling automation and infrastructure for distributed or SaaS systems. You have experience improving deployment velocity, reliability, and security through automation, and are comfortable designing strategies for complex backend or platform services.
Your technical depth includes strong fundamentals in at least one of the following areas:
- Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Build & release engineering
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- Backend platform services or UEM‑adjacent systems
- Observability, monitoring, and platform reliability frameworks
You have a proven track record of technical leadership, including:
- Leading platform or automation‑focused initiatives
- Improving build, deploy, and validation workflows
- Reducing operational toil through smart automation
- Mentoring engineers and influencing cross‑team architecture decisions
- Translating field issues and operational gaps into durable, automated solutions
You are comfortable analyzing failures, driving RCA/RCCA, and building preventive automation that strengthens the overall health and maturity of the platform.
