Quality Engineer

• Leverage AI‑assisted tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude and Test.ai) to accelerate test case creation, improve coverage, and reduce manual effort across functional and regression testing
• Build and enhance intelligent, self‑healing automation frameworks to minimize script maintenance and improve stability in dynamic UI and API environments
• Applies prompt engineering to accelerate and optimize daily work items
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI‑enabled testing capabilities
• Perform hands-on manual testing, including system, integration, and regression testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium / Playwright with Java and Cucumber (BDD)
• Execute automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins
• Work in an Agile environment with tools such as Rally, ensuring test cases, test execution, and defect tracking are maintained accurately
• Participate in requirement gathering and clarification sessions with business stakeholders to understand upcoming system changes
• Collaborate closely with development teams for defect triage, walkthroughs, and smooth handovers
• Conduct UAT handover sessions with business teams to ensure system changes are transitioned effectively after QA sign-off
• Track, document, and communicate quality metrics, and present them as part of Go / No-Go decisions
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members on testing best practices, tools, and frameworks
• Continuously adapt to new methodologies, platforms, and frameworks to support evolving business needs
• Contribute to test strategy, risk assessment, and overall quality improvement initiatives

AI Builder Responsibilities:

• Use GenAI tools (Copilot, Claude, Gemini AI) to ideate, prototype, and implement features efficiently
• Apply Vibe coding techniques to maintain clean, expressive, and AI-augmented codebases
• Develop internal tools and scripts using AI to automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity
• Stay current with emerging GenAI trends, tools, and ethical considerations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong balance of manual and automation testing
• Solid test scripting experience using Selenium / Playwright with Java and Cucumber
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Rally or Jira
• Experience in API testing using Postman/insomnia
• Experience in API automation using Rest Assured
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins
• Familiarity with using AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for test case creation, test design, and automation acceleration
