Key Responsibilities

• Execute test cases and test scenarios for functional and regression testing
• Perform manual testing of web applications
• Test REST APIs using tools like Postman (basic level)
• Identify, log, and track defects clearly
• Participate in requirement understanding and sprint activities
• Perform basic SQL validation for data accuracy
• Support UAT testing and validation
• Prepare simple test reports and status updates
• Maintain proper QA documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in manual software testing
• Good understanding of SDLC & STLC
• Ability to write clear test cases and scenarios
• Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing
• Basic API testing knowledge (Postman/Swagger)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
• Good analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to banking/financial applications
• Experience supporting UAT
• ISTQB certification (or equivalent)
