Assistant Engineer

The role focuses on handling data coming from multiple sources and formats, designing automation tools for data processing, and ensuring high-quality data ingestion into a SQL-based application.

This position is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in ETL processes, data automation, and applied AI, who are eager to grow in a technically rich and evolving environment. Exposure to environmental data is considered a valuable plus.

Responsibilities

•    Manage and integrate data from multiple heterogeneous sources and formats (e.g., structured, semi-structured, manual inputs). 
•    Design and implement ETL workflows to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes where possible. 
•    Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to improve data reliability, efficiency, and scalability. 
•    Perform manual data entry and data validation activities when automation is not feasible, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. 
•    Load, maintain, and update datasets within an application backed by a SQL database, ensuring adherence to data quality standards. 
•    Support data monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data pipelines. 
•    Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and propose improvements. 
•    Contribute to exploratory activities related to AI-driven data processing, data enrichment, or intelligent automation use cases.
