Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
-
Design and execute performance tests to validate application behaviour under complex use cases.

Ensure application performance best practices are embedded in design and development.

Identify performance impacts of interdependent services and applications.
Test Execution
-
Develop and maintain component-level and major functionality tests using ATF, Tosca, or similar tools.

Update and create performance test scripts to reflect new feature development.
-
Simulate large enterprise environments using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or Akamai CloudTest.
Test Analysis & Troubleshooting

Track and analyse performance metrics to evaluate product quality.

Use logs (e.g., Splunk), monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, DataDog), and stakeholder input to identify root causes of performance issues.

Present performance test data and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration & Alignment
-
Partner with Developer Leads, Architects, and Product Teams to ensure technical and operational models meet system and business requirements.

Align testing efforts with platform architecture and cross-functional delivery goals.
Basic Qualifications
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in software test engineering or development within an enterprise environment.

At least 1 year of experience testing end-user facing applications.

Conceptual understanding of software development practices and procedures.

Experience with REST API testing and performance modelling.

Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with multiple platforms and integrations.
-
ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator.
-
ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
-
Advanced training in agile, product, or software engineering methodologies.
