Job Description
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and execute QA strategies aligned with product goals.
- Design and execute detailed test plans for software applications.
- Engage with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Conduct defect analysis to identify root causes, trends, and patterns in software issues.
- Collaborate with peer testers, developers, and other team members to resolve product and technical issues.
- Multitask across various QA activities and projects simultaneously.
- Leverage AI tools to solve testing problems and generate data-driven solutions.
- Leverage AI tools to Identify QA issues dynamically and contribute to process improvements.
- Leverage AI tools for activities such as RCA, risk assessment, data generation, AI testing (chatbots, validations), test case generation, building an application, writing scripts (Postman, JMeter etc), and documentation (bug report etc).
- Utilize AI to accelerate application understanding and learning.
Use AI in new an innovative ways to arrive at business related solutions sooner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing roles.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is preferrable.
- Previous experience in ERP Systems (Project Accounting, Financial Accounting, Payroll, Inventory, Purchasing, or Time and Expense) would be preferrable.
- Experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, MCP servers, and agentic AI for internal solutions.
- Good working knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Technical debugging skills using server logs, client logs, and API calls.
- Experience with Agile software development practices.
- Experience testing web or mobile applications across various browsers, versions, and operating systems.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing tools would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with automated tools such as Selenium, QTP or other automation tools would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with tools like jmeter for Performance/Concurrency testing would be beneficial.
- Understanding and/or exposure to automation tools, Pipeline fixes would be beneficial.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and task distribution.
- Creative and analytical approach to enhancing customer experience through data-driven decision-making.
