QA POS Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Independently analyse business and functional requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases covering real-time payment transaction flows, including positive, negative, and exception scenarios.

• Drive smoke, functional, regression, and exploratory testing across web, mobile  payment applications while validating transactions, response codes, and payment workflows.

• Collaborate closely with Quality engineering managers, development, and business teams, report & track defects effectively, and communicate testing progress, risks, and release readiness with clarity.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and manual testing approaches including functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI, along with strong SQL skills for backend validation and transaction reconciliation.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to independently drive activities while also supporting team coordination responsibilities.
