Job Description
CI/CD and Release Engineering
- Design, build, and maintain multi-stage Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML, templates, environments, approvals, and gates) for build, test, security scanning, and deployment.
- Standardize reusable pipeline templates and branching strategies to reduce onboarding time and pipeline sprawl.
- Manage artifact and package feeds (Azure Artifacts, NuGet, npm, Maven, PyPI) with versioning, retention, and upstream source policies.
Infrastructure as Code
- Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform: modules, remote state, workspaces, drift detection, and policy-as-code.
- Implement GitOps-style change control for infrastructure with peer review and automated plan/apply workflows.
Containers and Kubernetes
- Build optimized, secure Docker images and manage them in Azure Container Registry.
- Deploy, operate, and scale workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), covering Helm, ingress, autoscaling, networking, RBAC, secrets management, and upgrades.
- Host and maintain SonarQube on AKS, including persistent storage, database, upgrades, quality gates, and integration with Azure DevOps pipelines.
Security and DevSecOps
- Embed security into pipelines through code quality (SonarQube), dependency and container image scanning, secret detection, and IaC scanning.
- Manage identities and secrets with Azure Key Vault, managed identities, service principals, and least-privilege RBAC.
- Support compliance, audit, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
Automation and Low-Code Integration
- Build ServiceNow integrations using Azure Logic Apps (incident, change request, and approval automation).
- Develop Power Automate flows and Power Platform solutions to streamline operational and business processes.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Observability and Reliability
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana/Prometheus.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of SLAs/SLOs.
