R&D Engineer 4

Responsibilities

• Implement new tools, applications, and processes, and improve the existing systems of the enterprise cloud platform. 

• Respond to unexpected incidents in the PWC cloud environments as part of the platform team. 

• Establish and maintain deployment and operational best practices. 

• Effectively communicate with other teams within the broader Keysight ecosystem to disseminate DevOps knowledge and best practices throughout the company. 

• Become a “go-to” resource for solving technical problems relating to deployment and operations of Kubernetes clusters. 

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent discipline. 
• 3+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Platform engineering experience. 

• 3+ years of experience with containerization. 

• 2+ years of production Kubernetes experience. 

• 2+ years of AWS experience. 

• 2+ years of experience Infrastructure as Code tools. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) are essential. 

• Tools and Languages: 

• Git, Docker (or equivalent), Kubernetes, Helm 

• Python or Bash scripting 

• Solid understanding of CI/CD development flows and impact of DevOps on architecture. 
• Other Major cloud (Azure, GCP) production workload experience a plus. 
• CKA and/or CKAD Certifications a plus. 

• Tools and Languages 

• Terraform, ArgoCD (or equivalent) 

• Jenkins experience a plus 

• Prometheus and Grafana experience a plus. 

• Go or NodeJS development experience a plus.
