Red Hat Ansible Developer Engineer

The work model for the role is: #LI- #Onsite This role is contributing to the IS Services in India/ Mexico and Poland. You will be mainly accountable for: • Design and develop Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to automate the deployment and configuration of infrastructure, applications, and cloud resources • Integrate Ansible with other DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to create end-to-end automation workflows • Troubleshoot and debug Ansible automation issues, and provide support to other teams using Ansible • Maintain stability of Ansible automation platform and secure the SLA of automation service • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Ansible-based solutions • Contribute to the development of Ansible best practices, standards, and reusable Ansible content • Stay up-to-date with the latest Ansible features, modules, and emerging trends in infrastructure as code and DevOps

Qualifications for the role

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Certified Ansible Specialist certification
• Bachelor's Degree in information management, computer systems or similar
• 3+ years of experience working with Ansible Automation Platform or AWX, preferably in an enterprise environment
• Proficient in writing Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules
• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
• Familiar with platform engineering knowledge
• Understanding of core on premise infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS) and cloud infrastructure (Azure,AWS, GCP)
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, etc)
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Proficient in web service development and skilled in managing and integrating APIs is a plus
