Job Description

  • Communicate with stakeholders spanning both internal and external teams
  • Assist QA Manager and QA Lead Analyst in identifying test scope, identifying project risks, and implementing process changes and efficiencies.
  • Maintain and develop test environment on-prem and cloud.
  • Oversee and enhance daily test regression and automation.
  • Ensure team members are complying with SDLC processes.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios and execute responsibilities with little oversight.
  • Create and maintain test artifacts and facilitating artifact reviews. Interface and communicate with internal teams and external support groups.
  • Help in implementing new technology/processes including new tools and test frameworks.
  • Develop domain-level expertise both on the application under test and testing practices.
  • Work with teams across globe and work as extension or independent initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Integration peers and seniors within team.
  • Flexible to adapt to business needs including managing multiple tasks.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be experienced with SQL and Linux/UNIX
  • Knowledge in OOP concepts and familiar with Python a plus.
  • Experience with messaging protocol(s). Experience in Financial Industry a plus.
  • Experience with Test Automation as well as manual testing.
  • Able to solve complex environment troubleshooting problems with logical thinking
  • Good problem determination skills that help lead to problem resolution.
  • Education: A Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required; or equivalent combination of education and relevant proven work experience that is required for the specific job level.
  • Experience: Typically, 6-8 years of progressively more demanding work experience. Candidate must demonstrate a successful testing career progression. Financial industry experience is preferred.
