Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

• Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code(IaC) modules using Terraform.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize cloud-based resources and services in Azure, leveraging IAC for consistent deployments. Implement and maintain Azure landing zone(s)
• Cloud Governance: Implement and enforce security best practices and organizational policies using Azure Policy ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory requirements
• Automation and Tooling: Develop and maintain automation code base for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments. Identify and implement manual processes and tasks
• Troubleshooting and Support: Proactively identify and resolve complex technical issues across wide range of cloud services and related functional areas

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience with Azure
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with Azure Policies for compliance and governance.
• Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell, Python, and/or others.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Technical expertise in software development, IT operations, and DevOps tools and technologies.

OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTS

• Azure, Cloud certifications.
• Experience with software testing frameworks.
