Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy SAP S/4HANA applications / developments.
• Develop and optimize ABAP on HANA solutions, including CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Design and implement SAP Fiori/UI5 applications for enhanced user experience.
• Drive SAP system performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Ability to support S/4HANA transformations such as Private Cloud to Public Cloud.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Design and manage SAP integrations using APIs, IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Oversee the development of SAP Business Workflows, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Able to work as independent SME in delivery SAP ABAP objects.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, security protocols, and performance guidelines.
• Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA innovations and recommend technical improvements.

• 10+ years of SAP development experience, with 5+ years in S/4HANA.
• Strong working experience in SAP ABAP Object Oriented and Core ABAP concepts.
• Expertise in ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).
• Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 application development and Fiori Elements.
• Deep understanding of APIs and SAP Gateway & OData Services for integration.
• Expertise in SAP Workflows, Enhancements (BADI, User Exits), and Forms Development.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills in SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration, BTP (Business Technology Platform), and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Implementation or Migration & Conversion Projects.
• Strong background in SAP modules like FICO, OTC, PTP etc.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD for SAP development. 

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• SAP Certifications in S/4HANA Development, SAP HANA, or ABAP Cloud (preferred).
• Proven experience in leading teams, code reviews, and solution architecture.
