Senior DevOps Engineer

You’ll make a difference by:

• 5+ Years experience managing cloud servers (AWS preferred, Azure desirable);
• Excellent knowledge of LAMP stack deployments with Apache2 and/or NGINX.
• Excellent knowledge of Ubuntu Server or similar.
• Excellent knowledge of server management, monitoring and debugging.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Excellent knowledge of Java, Scripting, SQL and Terraform.
• Experience using version control, preferably with Git or AWS Code Commit.

You’ll win us over by:

• Experience with AWS RDS, S3, EC2, EBS, EFS, IAM, and related AWS services.
• Degree in Computer Science, or similar area.
• Previous experience working with and optimising very large databases.
• Experience with Sentry, Zabbix, SonarQube, Grafana and Nessus server management/code scanning tools.
• Knowledgeable of, and keen to apply industry standards.
• Experience using Jira or similar systems.
• Experience with Docker or similar development tools.

Good to have:

• Experience managing MariaDB Columnstore clusters.
• Previous experience working with financial/transactional data.
• Ability to support with external audits if required (e.g. ISO 27001).
• Experience with Informatica Cloud.
