Senior Engineer, Cloud Platform

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Infrastructure as Code re-usable modules.
• Managing cloud-based resources and services, including implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Azure Policies.
• Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.
• Troubleshooting problems across a wide array of services and functional areas.
• Building and maintaining Azure policies for deployment and compliance

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud service providers.
• At least 5 years’ experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• At least 5 years’ experience with Azure Policies for compliance and governance.
• At least 5 years’ experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell, Python, Golang.
• Very good knowledge of DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Technical expertise in software development, IT operations, and DevOps tools and technologies.

OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTS

• Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud certifications.
• Experience with software testing frameworks, such as Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and the associated network protocols and concepts.
