Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain our cloud-based SharePoint environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Design, develop, and implement SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and other collaborative solutions based on business requirements.

Lead and execute SharePoint site migrations, leveraging tools such as ShareGate to ensure seamless transitions and data integrity.

Proactively engage with stakeholders and end-users to understand their needs and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.

Gather requirements, document specifications, and create user-friendly SharePoint sites and applications.

Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on SharePoint functionalities and best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Implement and maintain security and compliance standards within the SharePoint environment, adhering to the firm's regulatory requirements.

Stay up to date with the latest SharePoint features, updates, and industry best practices.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems.

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for SharePoint administration and automation tasks.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in SharePoint administration and engineering.

Proven experience in migrating SharePoint sites using tools such as ShareGate or similar migration solutions.

Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, content types, permissions, and service applications

Experience designing and implementing SharePoint workflows using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, or similar tools.

Proficiency in customizing SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box features, web parts, and potentially SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of security and compliance requirements within a regulated industry (financial services experience is a plus).

Familiarity with Power Shell scripting for SharePoint administration.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing and delivering end-user training.

Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint or Microsoft 365.

Experience with other Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, OneDrive).
-
Knowledge of information architecture principles and best practices.
