Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build and manage integrations using iPaaS platforms, ranging from rapid low-code/no-code automations to sophisticated, multi-system, enterprise-grade solutions.
- Design, implement, and manage APIs, including documentation, security, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with application teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions.
- Apply enterprise integration patterns to ensure consistency, scalability, and reliability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations for performance, cost efficiency, and resilience.
- Ensure integrations comply with enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Contribute to integration strategy, best practices, and reusable frameworks.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with at least one major iPaaS platform (Boomi, IBM webMethods, Tray.io, MuleSoft, Workato, etc.).
- Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP, SFTP, and messaging protocols.
- Knowledge of service orchestration, error handling, and integration patterns.
- Experience with API design, API gateways, and API lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid integration patterns.
- Proficiency in scripting or development languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, or Groovy preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with event-driven integrations using iPaaS platforms and messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, or similar).
- Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise integration projects.
