Senior Linux Administrator with Azure Cloud

Must have

• 8 -15 years of experience in administering Linux operating systems (Redhat / SuSe) at an advanced level, with a strong grasp of troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
• Hands-on experience in administering Azure environments.
• Proficiency in networking encompassing TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, and firewalls.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing network services such as DNS, LDAP, and HTTP proxies.
• Strong comprehension of IT security practices, particularly in OS hardening techniques.
• Proven track record in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python, Go, etc.) and adeptness with server automation tools like Ansible or CHEF

Desirable

• Ansible: Proficiency in Ansible for configuring servers, deploying software, and orchestrating more advanced IT tasks.
• Basic Understanding of Kubernetes orchestration system, deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.
• GitHub: Familiarity with GitHub operations such as pull requests, reviewing and merging code, as well as experience in managing repositories, branches, and tags.
• DevOps Pipeline: Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, as well as the stages in the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline - from coding to testing, to deployment, to monitoring.
