WHAT YOU'LL DO
Join our multinational team as a seasoned Linux & Cloud Administrator responsible for providing L3/L4 expert support for all Linux OS and infrastructure-related customer issues. You'll play a crucial role in building automation solutions and enhancing our platform operations to deliver top-tier cloud services tailored for SAP Applications to enterprise customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for ensuring round-the-clock availability of SAP systems operating within SAP ECS. Tasked with promptly responding to, troubleshooting, and resolving alerts and incidents occurring within the Linux OS or infrastructure layers, spanning across VMWare, GCP, and BareMetal environments.
Serving as the elevated L3/L4 escalation contact for critical production issues. Adhering to change management protocols while executing service requests. Actively pursuing avenues to optimize standard operating procedures by leveraging automation techniques.
Implement automation solutions to streamline platform operations, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate our cloud services for SAP Applications, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
Work closely with a diverse, multinational team to ensure the delivery of world-class cloud services tailored specifically for SAP Applications to our global enterprise clientele.
Participate in designing and implementing strategies to optimize the customer experience and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Understand and operate Azure platform.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
8 -15 years of experience in administering Linux operating systems (Redhat / SuSe) at an advanced level, with a strong grasp of troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
Hands-on experience / Understanding in administering IBM Cloud platform.
Proficiency in networking encompassing TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, and firewalls.
Demonstrated expertise in managing network services such as DNS, LDAP, and HTTP proxies.
Strong comprehension of IT security practices, particularly in OS hardening techniques.
Proven track record in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python, Go, etc.) and adeptness with server automation tools like Ansible or CHEF
