Senior Platform Engineer

Overview
• Support Mainframe and Unix batch scheduling systems
• Collaboration with Quality Assurance teams
• Set up batch schedules to ensure timely job execution
• Validate JCL quality and compliance with company standards
• Provide second-level support for Mission Control and Operations (MC&O)
• Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled at researching complex issues

Role Responsibilities
• Schedule batch jobs across multiple platforms
• Provide second-level support for Mission Control and Operations (MC&O)
• Review and validate mainframe code for standards compliance
• Troubleshoot JCL-related issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth batch operations
• Define mainframe reports

All About You
• Strong knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language)
• Experience with IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) for the Unix platform
• Experience with TWS Z/OS (OPC) batch scheduling tools for the Mainframe
• Experience with CA Endevor on the mainframe
• Experience with CA Deliver (SAR Express Reporting)
• Experience with PuTTY application
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Results-driven with a proactive mindset
