Senior Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, Kafka, SQL/NOSQL, Unit Testing, Agile practices
Fullstack Development, Frontend Development (Angular/TypeScript & Visual Studio Code), Backend Development (Java & IntelliJ), Microapp Development, Bitbucket, CI/CD Pipeline use and maintenance (Jenkins), Unit Testing.
System Design and Architecture Experience, Database (Oracle/SQL).
Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of work end-to-end, and collaborative and good communication skills to be able to work well with developers, testers, business analysts, scrum masters, and product owners to understand requirements and implement them effectively.

Backend Engineering

. Strong Java (11+ baseline) and Spring Boot (modern Spring stack)
. Real microservices experience (not just monolith claims)
. API design: REST best practices, error handling, versioning, idempotency concepts
. NoSQL database experience + ability to reason about data models and performance
. CI/CD and Git workflows; comfort with pipelines and deployments
. Troubleshooting and solutioning (must demonstrate real examples)

Engineering Discipline

. Testing mindset (unit + integration tests; understands value of automation)
. Monitoring/observability exposure (Dynatrace / logs / ELK / etc.)

Frontend Working Knowledge (required, not optional)

. Can debug Angular UI issues and implement smaller UI changes
. Understands HTML/CSS/JS basics and Angular fundamentals

Nice‑to‑Have / Differentiators

. Java 17, Spring Boot 3 / Spring 6
. Kafka and async/reactive programming experience
. Docker + container platforms (e.g., OpenShift)
. Spring Security, security scanning familiarity
. Experience in regulated environments (financial services)
