Job Description
In this opportunity as a Service Reliability Engineer, you will:
- • Implement best practices for system design, software development, automated testing, and continuous integration using industry standard tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for implementation.
- • Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- • Develop automated tests and deployments utilizing programming languages such as Python, Bash, Groovy, or Ruby.
- • Design scalable systems capable of handling high traffic volumes while maintaining optimal performance levels.
- • Utilize cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to host applications efficiently.
- • Work collaboratively within Agile teams to deliver new features & enhancements according to customer needs.
- • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
About you:
You’re a fit for the role of Service Reliability Engineer if you:
- Over 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud
- Strong proficiency with AWS tools, including EC2, S3, and VPC
- Proven track record of working with ServiceNow
- Extensive experience in application support
- Skilled in utilizing monitoring tools such as Datadog
- Open to working in rotational shifts
- Additional knowledge of Tomcat is a plus
