Job Description
- Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
- Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug-tracking system
- Analyze issues related to functionality, performance, usability, and data integrity
- Participate in product and design reviews to identify risks and gaps early
- Develop and maintain clear test documentation to ensure repeatability and compliance
- Execute compatibility and regression testing across applications, environments, and platforms
- Validate system changes prior to release and production deployment
- Monitor defect resolution and partner with developers to drive timely fixes
- Review technical and functional documentation for accuracy, completeness, and risk mitigation
- Provide actionable feedback to improve software usability and quality
- Maintain repositories of known defects and test assets
- Set up and maintain test environments that mirror production
- Monitor application performance to ensure stable, efficient operation
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to diagnose issues and recommend solutions
